All faculty members are dedicated to Christ in every way, faithful to the ministry of the church and academically experts in their fields. Each professor possesses a doctorate in his respective field of learning. Our online format allows the school to employ professors from across the country.
John R. Lup, Jr. PhD (Dean)
Bachelor of Arts in Preaching Ministry (Florida Christian College), Master of Arts in Church History and Master of Divinity in Theology (Cincinnati Christian Seminary), Doctor of Philosophy in Philosophy (University of South Florida)
Dr. Lup is the founding professor and academic administer of the Cloudland Seminary. His doctorate is in the field of philosophy with a specialization in Hermeneutical Philosophy. He has taught college for over 25 years at colleges and universities in three different fields. He was professor for twenty-one years at Florida Christian College where he taught over 45 different classes primarily in the fields of Bible, Biblical Languages (Greek and Hebrew), and Theology. He has taught at the University of North Florida, Stetson University and Valencia College in the areas of philosophy, religion and history. His church experience includes serving as a Youth Minister, Campus Minister, Associate Minister and Senior Minister. He has been the Senior Minister of West Orange Christian Church in Orlando, Florida for over 10 years. He and his wife Jan have been married for 35 years and they have three adult children and four grandchildren.
